You must be PROACTIVE and willing to get involved with your county and state Departments of Environmental Health.

Make yourself available to track legislation and keep APT up to date with legislative events in your state and county.

You must be willing and able to interact with other tattoo shops in your local area and set up local seminars 10-15 artists per event.

You will be asked to contact convention promoters and offer APT Preventing Disease Transmission in Tattooing (PDTT) Seminar for their event. Non members may attend.

You will be required to read and understand the Bi Laws of APT.

You must strive to present yourself in a professional and friendly manner when talking to other Artists, Health officials or other tattoo / piercing professionals.

At times personal expenses may not be reimbursed, be sure to check with the home office before purchases and making agreements with other groups or conferences.
